Ship hosts lecture about American foreign policy's impact on opioid crisis 

Dr. Paul Rexton Kan, professor of National Security Studies at the U.S. Army War College, will speak at Ship on March 26 at 7:00 p.m. in Grove Hall Forum. Kan will discuss the impact of American foreign policy on the national opioid crisis.

An expert on American foreign policy and the implications of transnational and non-traditional global security threats and challenges, Kan is a widely published author. He has served as the senior visiting counter-narcotics advisor at NATO Headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan. He also has served as a consultant and advisor to the Office of National Drug Control Policy and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office of drug cartel activity.
