Shippensburg University to host inaugural Black Male Symposium

Shippensburg University will host the inaugural Black Male Symposium on April 11 – 12, 2019. The symposium will examine, explore and develop strategies to ensure black males graduate from high school and are both academically and socially integrated into college to increase and improve retention rates of black men in higher education.

The two-day course is designed for K-13 and higher education professionals, community leaders and stakeholders, diversity and social equity officers and leaders in Black male retention.
