Shippensburg University offers home brewing course
Join Shippensburg University and award-winning brewer Brad Moyer on February 23 for a one-day interactive home brewing course. The course is offered as part of Ship’s new brew science program, funded by a $71,701 grant from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
Designed to introduce the skills needed to become a successful home brewer, the course covers beer types, shopping for supplies and the basic principles of fermentation. The course provides participants with one-on-one instruction and hands-on experience.
Participants will take part in the process with one-on-one instruction and hands-on experience.
A $149 course fee includes books, materials, a sampling glass, hands-on instruction, a tasting and light refreshments.
