Master's of Reading Candidates

All reading candidates who complete a Master's Degree after January 1, 2013, MUST show they have completed 9 credits of special education coursework and 3 credits of literacy instruction for English Language Learners.   These credits can be from either undergraduate or graduate coursework.  The Master's of Reading Program Requirements assumes that all candidates come to their Master's Program with 3 credits of special education coursework from their undergraduate degree.  If not, another background course will be needed.
