Campus Vibe : What it's like at Ship
Jump to Footer

Learning at Ship doesn't just take place in a classroom. It also happens with the new friends you make, the activities you participate in, and in the place you call home during the school year.

Ship has six suite style residence halls, two five-story traditional residence halls, and an apartment complex. Each residence hall has a unique and exciting vibe, and there are plenty of opportunities for you to socialize with students with similar interests - especially in Living-Learning Communities and Special Interest Suites.

Our new suite-style coed residence halls are designed for your comfort, convenience, and safety. These four-story buildings feature the usual amenities plus air conditioning, carpeting, and a bathroom shared by you and one other student. Ship's Living-Learning Communities can be found here, which add to the uniqueness of each hall.

Traditional residence halls are coed by wing and feature double-occupancy rooms where you share a community bathroom with all the rooms on your floor. They feature study rooms, common kitchens, laundry facilities, lounges, and other amenities.

You can also live in a one-, two-, or four-bedroom furnished apartments at Stone Ridge Commons. They include laundry facilities on every floor, study rooms, lounges, and even a conference room and exercise center within the complex.

The day has finally arrived: You're off to college!

Move In Day is always a bustle of activity inside and outside our residence halls. We'll have student volunteers and university staff on-hand to help make things go as smoothly as possible for you, and your patience and cooperation are appreciated.
