Student Help Desk

The Shippensburg University Student Help Desk
offers technical support service that is open to
all students currently enrolled at the University!

SU Student Helpdesk


The Student Helpdesk is conveniently located near the center of the campus within the Mathematics and Computing Technologies Center in the Microcomputer Lab MCT054.  Students are encouraged to visit the new Student Help Desk whenever they are in need of technical support for their personal computer and/or network connection.  While the Student Help Desk is available to students walking in for assistance, they are also available to be contacted via telephone by dialing 717-477-1639 (x1639 on-campus) or by e-mail address of helpdesk@ship.edu.

As the goal of the Student Help Desk is to serve the technical support needs of all students at Shippensburg University it is anticipated that any student experiencing a technical problem with their computer will want to stop by and take advantage of this exciting service!

Mission Statement

Shippensburg Student Help Desk will provide a single point of contact for students experiencing problems relating to personal computer systems and/or ResNet connectivity. We are dedicated to providing Shippensburg students a professional and efficient technical support experience for all issues concerning:

      • Personal computer network connectivity
      • Wireless connectivity across campus
      • Gaming console connectivity
      • Computer clean-up of virus, spyware, malware, etc
      • University provided software installation and maintenance
      • Connection to student e-mail and stufiles
      • Answers and advice to technical questions
      • Many more... stop in and see us for support!

Through working as a team to address all concerns brought to our attention; we will ensure that productivity is achievable at its highest level for all of our customers. Our priority is to serve the technical support needs of all students at Shippensburg University as it pertains to their vital connection to the Shippensburg computer network.  We will provide support to those students living on and off campus when they are attempting network access via wired or a wireless connection.

General Information

All students attending Shippensburg University have unlimited access to the services provided by the Student Helpdesk. These services are provided to students at no additional cost for support.
