The Office of International Programs maintains and supports the study abroad programs on campus.  All Ship students are given the opportunity to spend time learning abroad.  Opportunities exist for studying, interning, student teaching and volunteering overseas.  Additionally, all international students who come to Shippensburg on F-1 visas are also advised and supported through this office.  International students are provided with support services regarding immigration and cultural adjustment from the Office of International Programs.  Additionally, in order to provide the campus community opportunities to learn about other countries and people, various cultural events are also hosted throughout the year.  Examples of these events include programming during International Education Week in November and Women’s World Fest in March.

The University Store is temporarily in three different locations due to CUB renovations.   Textbooks are in McLean residence hall lounge, apparel is on the first floor of the CUB and everything else is in the "SHIP Shack" located outside of McLean.  We are a part of Shippensburg University, Student Services, Inc., a nonprofit corporation. Revenue is generated from the sale of textbooks, supplies, clothing, and gifts to the student body, faculty, staff, and campus community. This revenue is then used for funding clubs, organizations, and student activities under the direct supervision of the Student Association. Since the store is student owned, we welcome your comments and suggestions. We hope you will take advantage of the goods and services provided by your University Store.

The Office of Extended Studies collaborates with the academic colleges to develop, administer, and support courses, certificates, and degrees that address the professional development, continuing education, and service needs of south-central Pennsylvania.  The emphasis is on non-traditional students, including adult, part time students, and non-traditional learning experiences including off-campus locations, and the use of distance education technologies and accelerated formats.  The Office provides faculty, departments, and colleges with the opportunity to initiate new programming outside the confines of standard resource limitations.  While the focus is on credit-based programming, non-credit professional programming is also supported.  The Office also serves as a bridge to the external community through a variety of outreach and service activities.
