Academic Affairs Assessment Team
Assessment provides educational institutions with a comprehensive representation of the effectiveness of programs, curricula, and student learning. Assessment tells us exactly what is working within the university and how we can improve student learning.
The Academic Affairs Assessment Team (AAAT) is dedicated to expanding the culture of assessment at Shippensburg University by getting departments, faculty, and students involved in assessment. How effective are our programs in educating students and preparing them for their future? As a professor, are your students learning what you teach? As a student, are you learning what you need to learn in order to graduate and be successful thereafter? Proper assessment can answer these questions.
ASSESSMENT VIRTUAL DISCUSSION FORUM 2014
The Academic Affairs Assessment Team of Shippensburg University announces the first virtual conference designed specifically to discuss assessment ideas in various stages of development. Assessment reports have been submitted; it is time to explore with our colleagues what we have learned and what we’d still like to know.
This virtual conference features presentations similar to round table sharing of information on assessment topics of interest.
From March 31-April 4, in D2L, you will see yourself as a participant in this virtual discussion forum. Join in the conversation as we explore better ways to develop meaningful assessment initiatives!
