Alumni Association Board of Directors
Do you have a passion for Shippensburg? Then consider applying
for 1 of 26 board director positions. These board members work together and collaborate
with the University Relations office to increase the visibility and vitality
of Shippensburg University and the Alumni Association.
The mission of the Shippensburg
University Alumni Association Board of Directors is to efficiently coordinate resources,
evaluate programs, oversee planning, and promote the common success of alumni
and Shippensburg University.
Each board director is responsible for representing
Shippensburg University alumni through bringing ideas to the Board that can
best serve the alumni association. Directors are elected to a four-year term.
The board meets on campus with one of those meetings being a weekend planning
meeting. Directors participate in conference calls and lend their assistance at
alumni events on campus as well as serve as hosts at regional alumni events.
The president of your alumni association
is Jason Kirsch, Class of 1995, with Kristina (Pete) Jacoby ’99 as your
president-elect. Each year the board looks for energetic alumni to replace retiring
board members. If you are interested in becoming a candidate for the Alumni

Nominations are currently being sought for the board term starting June 2015. Nominations for this term are due by February 15, 2015. For those individuals not selected in 2015, biographical data forms will be maintained in an active file status for review through 2016.
