Shippensburg University welcomes applications from students who are citizens of other countries. We have a long tradition of attracting international students like you to our campus.

We students from a variety of locations including Western Europe, South America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia. We realize the level of commitment that one must make to leave their families, friends and culture to pursue academic goals in the United States. Here at Shippensburg, we do our best to provide you with the resources to achieve those academic as well as other goals. These resources include the Office (and Director) of International Student Services and the Shippensburg International Student Organization (SISO). Additionally, there are a number of cultural events on campus and in the surrounding communities.

The undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Shippensburg reflect our commitment that conferring of a degree truly signals to the world that our graduates have mastered their field. Shippensburg works hard to keep a quality education affordable and offers a limited number of JFK Scholarships for undergraduate students and a wide range of assistantships for graduate students. A recent survey asked some of our students and graduates why they chose Shippensburg. They said "THE ACADEMIC QUALITY". They also indicated that it was the quality and friendliness of the faculty and the student life programs that made the difference. The opportunities we offer to both undergraduate and graduate students in the form of internships, practica and experiences that have yielded both immediate and long-term benefits to our graduates.
