Shippensburg University’s Convenient Answer to the Professional Development and Act 48 Needs of Educators

The K-12 Educators Institute is a series of short-term graduate workshop courses offered for professionals at all levels of K-12 instruction. Courses range from one to three graduate credits and cover a variety of subject areas such as: art, biology, communications, geography, social studies, athletics, social work, counseling and library science to name just a few.

  • Courses offered online, on-campus and at a variety of on-site locations.
  • Most courses can be completed in just one or two week.
  • Courses offered for graduate credit and/or continuing education units.

K-12 courses are designed by Shippensburg University faculty and district/IU experts to help educators meet PDE education standards  and regulations of No Child Left Behind.  Other courses are the result of alliances with respected state and non-profit organizations.
