As a member of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, Shippensburg University can offer a quality education at a surprisingly affordable cost. However, many students still need financial assistance in order to attend college.

Important Financial Aid Changes

New Federal Stafford and PLUS Loan Information

  • Attention Freshmen, Transfers and new Graduate students:  If you wish to borrow a Federal Stafford Loan at Shippensburg University, you MUST Fill out a Master Promissory Note at  www.aessuccess.org  (even if you’ve already borrowed at another school).
  • Parents and Students who wish to fully cancel a Federal Stafford or Parent PLUS loan, MUST cancel the loan with AES/PHEAA

Important Financial Aid Announcement

  • Undergraduate students:  If you plan to receive financial aid as a fulltime student, you must  be scheduled for at least 12 credits before the semester begins.
  • Graduate students:  If you plan to receive financial aid as a fulltime student, you must  be scheduled for at least 9 graduate credits before the semester begins.
