Financial Aid Application Process

To apply for financial aid, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. This form is available on-line at: FASFA

PHEAA - Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, maintains an extensive website of information about these programs. In particular, PHEAA offers an on-line tool called "AES Education Planner" (This link opens a new window. Close the window to return to this page.) that allows families to plan for college expenses. By filling in the information on Mentor's forms, families can estimate the amount of grant monies they are eligible to receive.

You are encouraged to file this application between January 1 and April 1. The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) requires the FAFSA to be received by the Federal Processor no later than May 1 for Pennsylvania State Grant consideration for PA residents.Completing your federal income tax return prior to completing this application is highlyencouraged as the FAFSA refers to specific lines on the tax return.
