The Project Center is dedicated to assisting recognized student organizations achieve their tasks, such as copies, faxes, and even balloon orders. The Project Center also houses many leadership and team building resources available for loan through The Project Center's Resource Loan Program. The Project Center is solely for the use of Shippensburg University Student-Senate recognized student organizations. However, certain individual services are also available through The Project Center, please see The Project Center for more details.

Tuesdays: 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Wednesdays: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Thursdays: 12:30 - 5:00 PM & 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Fridays: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

General Information for Student Groups

Every student group must have a Project Center Registration Form and an Updated Roster


COPY SERVICES

Student groups/departments/Academic Student Groups will receive 250 pages a semester for all types of copies

If you do not end up using all 250 copies, you will lose them

If you go over 250 copies, you will be CHARGED

Types of copies include:

Single-sided

Double-sided

Handbills (2 to 4 a page)


POSTER AND BANNER PRINTING

Requests must be turned in at least 2 weeks prior to the date needed. If requesting a poster for the Great Wall, approval must be obtained from CUB Information Desk before the Project Center will print request.

The standard size of a poster is 3’ x 4’ and the standard size for a banner is 2’ x 6’. Great Wall posters will only be printed 3’ x 4’ and must be portrait orientation.

Only 2 banners/posters will be made per request and the maximum number of banners/posters made, per student group, a semester is 10.

The price per poster once a group reaches 10 a semester, or wants more than 2 per event is $5 for a poster and $7 for a banner.

THE ORIGINAL COPY OF THE POSTER/BANNER MUST BE ON AN 8 1/2’ x 11’ PAPER, SUBMITTED WITH THE FORM.

Banners/posters may be printed in full color or in black and white.


BALLOONS/HELIUM

Requests must be submitted at least 5 days prior to the date needed, to ensure we have enough balloons, helium, and string to provide.

50 latex balloons and ribbon will be provided to student groups per semester.

Weights and anchors are the responsibility of the student group.

If a group goes over quota, they have the option of buying their own balloons or The Project Center can provide extras at $.50 each. If providing their own balloons, the helium and string charge is $.25 each.

If a group brings their own Mylar or latex balloons, they may fill 50 balloons per semester.

Helium is on a first come, first serve basis.
