Overview

This guide will show you how to provide students who have already taken a quiz with updated points on a question in a quiz.  This can be useful if you realize that a quiz was mistakenly set up with a wrong answer and you want to provide the students who selected the right answer but lost a point with a point.

Intended Audience:  Faculty

Updating a Question to Give Points After The Fact

1.  Click More Tools - Quizzes.

2.  Click the down arrow to the right of the quiz title.

3.  Click Grade.

4.  Click Questions.

5.  Select Update All Attempts.

6.  Click the Question that you want to provide points for.

7.  Under Grading Type, Select Give to attempts with answer [DropDown] [PointValue] points.

8.  Select the answer to the question that you want to provide points for.  In this example, I'm going to award 1 point for any student who answered true.

9.  Click Save and the Back To Questions
