Out-of-State Tuition Advantage Program (TAP)

Out-of-state residents pay a percentage (225%) of in-state tuition. That rate is reduced for high-achieving students and students majoring in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) disciplines.

High-Achieving Student Discount

  • First-year students who earn a 1200 SAT or better (Critical Reading + Critical Math) or who graduate in the top 10% of their high school class receive a 175% tuition rate. 
  • Transfer students who have earned less than 30 college level credits and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 receive 175%.
  • Transfer students who have earned 30 or more college level credits and have a minimum GPA of 2.8 receive 175%.

STEM Major Discount

Students enrolled in a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or STEM Education major receive a 175% tuition rate. 

Pay 175% of in-state tuition instead of 225%. At this year's rate, the savings is $1,765 per semester or $3,530 per year.

Dual Admission Discount for Transfer Students 

Students enrolled in a Dual Admission Program with a participating community college receive a 150% tuition rate.
