Office of Workforce Development

The mission of the Office of Workforce Development is to develop and offer quality credit and non-credit courses that meet temporary educational and training needs of the region. Currently, the Department of Counseling offers a Post-Master's Certificate of Advanced Studies in Counseling, a Post-Master's Certificate in Couples, Marital and Family Therapy, and a Post-Master's Certificate in Adlerian Counseling. Alumni who need to earn graduate credits for Act 48 credits, licensure, or certification, or who desire specialized training may contact the Office of Workforce Development at (717) 477-1348 or visit their webpages.

Graduate Certificate in Couples and Family Therapy

This is a two-year post-master's certificate program is designed to provide specialized training in couples and family therapy for working mental health professionals. The program embodies an integrated, systemic perspective that focuses on the relationships between people within the family and on their relationships with the larger community.
