Residence Director Remuneration

The Residence Director position at Shippensburg University is not a traditional Graduate Assistantship. As a 12 month, 3/4 time (30 hrs/week) union represented position, the experience provides a professional opportunity while also working on a graduate degree.

Compensation for Residence Directors includes the following:

• An on-campus, fully furnished 1 or 2 bedroom apartment (dependent on building)
• Meal Plan (14 meals/week with flex account)
• Tuition waiver
• Assigned staff parking
• Starting stipend of approximately $24,000 per academic year
