The University Counseling Center (UCC) provides individual, couples, and group counseling, crisis intervention, and psychiatric services for undergraduate and graduate students. The staff at the Counseling Center are confidential and not required to report victim information to police, human resources or the Dean of Students Office.

The University Police enforce all regulations and laws, both of the University and the Commonwealth. They also work cooperatively with the Shippensburg Borough Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police to record incidents that may occur off campus.

The Dean of Students Office houses several important services that support and enhance the learning environment at Shippensburg University, including the Office of Student Conduct. Sexual misconduct incidents involving students as the complainant and respondent are adjudicated by this office.

The Title IX Coordinator is an advocate for the rights of all students to work and learn in an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment based on gender. RAINN - Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network

RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (1.800.656.HOPE) and Online Hotline at rainn.org, and publicizes the hotline’s free, confidential services; educates the public about sexual assault; and leads national efforts to prevent sexual assault, improve services to victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.
