Center for Emerging Scholars
The Center for Emerging Scholars is a designated place on campus for First-generation and Diverse students. Centrally located in the Ceddia Union Building (CUB) on the 2nd Floor, you cannot help from visiting us. The inviting space has comfy seats, snacks, computers, a table (great for group projects) and a big screen television that makes student Zoom networking sessions loads of fun.
Students looking to grab a seat and study, the Center’s quiet hours* is a fabulous time to come by and get away from the busyness of campus life. The Center is also a way to meet peers, form bonds, and engage with others. Are you interested in joining a student organization? If so, sign-up for First-Gen Student Alliance (FGSA) when you stop by the Center.
