Location

The Student Helpdesk is located in the Mathematics and Computing Technologies Center (MCT), on the first floor in computer lab MCT054.

 

Hours

Spring '12 Semester Hours: 

Sunday:       5pm to 9pm
Monday:        8am to 9pm
Tuesday:       8am to 9pm
Wednesday:  8am to 9pm
Thursday:      8am to 9pm
Friday:         8am to 5pm
Saturday:  Closed

Hardware Recommendations

When looking for a new computer for your college career, please take into consideration the following recommendations.  If you plan on purchasing in-store, or on via a website, please feel free to provide these requirements to a customer service representative for them to offer further assistance in finding a machine that is right for your needs.

 

Minimum Processor:  2.0Ghz dual core processor
(recommend Core 2 Duo if buying Intel chipset)

Minimum Memory:  2GB RAM (recommend 4GB)

Minimum Hard Drive:  80GB Storage Space (recommend 250GB+)

Minimum Operating System:  Windows XP (recommend Windows 7)

Minimum External Drive:  CD-ROM Drive (recommend CD-RW/DVD Drive)

Standard Features:  Ethernet and USB 2.0 connectivity, Built in Wireless (recommend 802.11n wireless card)

Minimum Video Card:  Integrated Graphics
