Poetry Open Mic with Award-Winning Poet Patricia Smith

Join the EAPSU Conference as they welcome award-winning poet Patricia Smith and host a Poetry Open Mic Night for all students. Everyone is welcome!

Fall EAPSU Conference 

For the first time ever, Ship will be hosting a combined faculty and undergraduate English research conference in conjunction with the English Association of Pennsylvania State Universities. English majors and faculty from all 14 PASSHE schools will converge at Ship to present their research related to this year's theme "Creativity in Times of Crisis." Come celebrate the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein as we read exercepts from the book and poetry! This is a great event to join The Reflector and submit to their arts journal before their deadline on October 31st! 

The SHAPE Gallery is located on 19 E King Street in Downtown Ship. 

This event is free and open to the public.

Reflector Submissions 2018 Flier Due October 31st at midnight to reflect@ship.eduThe Reflector, the Undergraduate Journal of the Arts will be accepting submissions to their email reflect@ship.edu until 11:59pm on October 31st! Students are welcome to submit their prose, poetry, art, and even videos of art and music. If you submit a video, it should be a Youtube video, so that we can publish it in the jounral as QR Codes.
