On Thursday August 21, 2014, you are asked to participate in New Student Convocation.  This event provides us an opportunity to introduce our new students into the academic community in a way that reflects the positive values, missions, and challenges associated with living and learning at Shippensburg University.

At that time, we will celebrate your accomplishments as you become members of the newest cohort of students to attend Shippensburg.  You will be joining a learning community that strives for professionalism and spectacular outcomes.  Through our hardwork and dedication we will sail the rough waters ahead together.  To help remind you of our mission, and simple ways that you can contribute to that mission and ultimately your success, we will recite the "New Student Pledge."

Parents, family and friends who are interested can also participate according to instructions that will be forthcoming.
