The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college within Shippensburg University, has three primary areas of emphasis:

  1. Educating undergraduates
  2. Offering high quality graduate programs
  3. Providing general education courses to all undergraduate students

The ultimate aim of the College of Arts and Sciences is to enhance the development of students so they may lead meaningful lives as private individuals, professionals and citizens.
