
This spring is one of two springs located in a field north of Route 11 & Route 174. These two springs flow into Burd Run. It is conceivable that these two ditches were constructed to drain the fields.

This photo shows one of the springs that flow into Burd Run. This spring originates by the University Inn which is located along Route 174. Burd Run is located at the middle - left of the picture.

This view shows a spring which is located in a field along Fogelsanger Road and Britton Road. There is a small wetland surrounding the springs. It is also believed that this spring was channeled drain the field. The current use for the field is recreational, but its past use was pasture.
