Secure Wireless Instructions
Shippensburg University is in the process of rolling out a secure wireless connection in the Residence Halls across campus. Once your Residence Hall has been enabled for the secure connection, your computer will see multiple Shippensburg wireless networks to choose from. The first will be the University's current open wireless connection (seen as "ship"), the second will be the new secure wireless connection (seen as "shipsecure").
This new secure connection provides protection against password, identitiy, and data theft. The secure wireless connection is the recommended wireless connection for users who have this option available to them. In order to connect to the new secure wireless network, users will need to follow the walkthroughs below based on the operating system they are using.
