Ship MBA Evening

The Ship MBA program format is designed to meet the needs of working professionals. The program can be completed on a part-time basis in two years, taking two courses a semester and two courses in the summer.  In addition to our Shippensburg campus, this program format is delivered in Harrisburg and East Stroudsburg using electronic classrooms. 

AACSB Accredited Program

The John L. Grove College of Business is accredited by AACSB International, which certifies the quality of the curriculum, faculty, and support services. The Ship MBA l program consists of 10 courses (30 credits), which includes 8 core courses and 2 elective courses.  The core courses cover critical elements of business management in today's technologically advanced and global business environment. 

The course sequence is flexible, as the core courses do not have prerequisites beyond the basic requirements to enter the MBA program.

Two-thirds of each course is taught in an electronic classroom and broadcast to the remote sites via videoconferencing technology, thus providing students the opportunity to interact with the professor and other students face-to-face from multiple sites.  Many classes utilize on-line forums to enhance content discussions and sharing of ideas.  One-third of each course is taught in an on-line format. 

Ship MBA students have the option to take up to three courses in a 100% online format, further adding to the flexibility the program provides.
