Center to sponsor workshop on wastewater management
The Center for Land Use at Shippensburg University is sponsoring a free workshop titled "The Future of Wastewater Management in Central Pennsylvania Communities" from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at The Conference Center at Shippensburg University.
A panel of experts will present an overview on wastewater/water wanagement from the community planning, engineering, public finance, government and legal perspectives. The Panel will be followed by an extended question and answer session to address local concerns, ideas and recommendations. Panelists are Dr. George Pomeroy, director of the Center for Land Use; a representative from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection; Vickie Johnson, project specialist, Region 3 PENNVEST; Steve Feinour, Solicitor, Nauman Smith; and Tony Dawood, Dawood Engineering, Inc
