Director's Welcome

Hello students! With midterms and class scheduling on the horizon, we've already begun our planning process to meet our newest prospective students. With our Summer 2014 Orientation Team recently selected, we're excited about the opportunity to get to know a new class of students. That being said, please take the time to review the summer schedule and steps to take in order to prepare yourself for Orientation. Feel free to call our office or email us if you have any questions.

Why Did You Choose Shippensburg?

I chose Shippensburg because it was close to home and I wanted to remain close to my family. Plus, I like the small campus size and smaller class sizes.

What is your favorite thing Ship has to offer?

My favorite thing about Shippensburg is the caring and genuine professors. They really do care about you wellbeing and are willing spend time after class with you to give you some help.

If you could give any one piece of advice to incoming students, what would it be?

Do not be afraid to go out of your comfort zone and talk to your professor when you need help. It is better to ask for help right away than be scared and fall behind in class.
