A Place For You
Greetings from Shippensburg University! As you are making your decision regarding college, we know how important it is for you to visit the campus. We would like to offer you more than just a campus visit; we would like to offer you the college experience!
We are pleased to invite you to Shippensburg University’s annual “A Place for You” program to be held on November 22, 2013 from 10-3pm. “A Place for You” is designed to bring high school students of Multicultural backgrounds and their guest to campus and experience SHIP’s educational opportunities, student life, and overall campus community.
During your visit to SHIP on that Friday, there will be a special luncheon program with a Keynote speaker and more. You can speak with members of the campus community (students, faculty, coaches, support services staff, and administration) and find out all you need to know on how Shippensburg can be part of your future. You will also be able to tour the campus led by a SHIP student. Finally, you will have the opportunity to attend information workshops regarding the admission and application process (fee waivers included) and financial aid, as well as meet with a panel of students and staff members discussing the academic and campus life at SHIP.
Enclosed are a registration form for this admissions event. Bus transportation will be provided from the Philadelphia 30th Street Station for students and families living in that area and surrounding counties at no cost.
Please return the completed registration form by mail or preferably fax the registration form to us at (717) 477-4016. Space is limited and priority will be given to those responding the earliest. Approved students will be notified by a confirmation letter, email and a reminder phone call for the program. No student will be permitted to attend without confirmation and the permission signature of a parent or guardian on the registration form.
We cannot wait to see you on our campus! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at 1-800-822-8028.
