A Place For You

As you are completing your college search process, we know how important it is to visit the college campus. We would like to offer you more than just a campus visit; we would like to offer you the college experience!

We are pleased to invite you and one parent or guardian to our fall 2017 “A Place for You” Program on Friday, November 17, 2017.

“A Place for You” is designed to bring high school students of multicultural backgrounds and their guardian to campus and experience SHIP’s educational opportunities, student life, and the overall campus community.

During your visit to Shippensburg University, you have opportunities to:

  • Speak with members of the campus community (students, faculty, staff, support services)
  • Tour the campus led by a Ship student.
  • Enjoy a special luncheon program with a Keynote speaker
  • Apply to SHIP during an application workshop and receive a Fee Waiver
  • Learn more about financial aid and other important programs.
  • Hear from student and staff panels regarding academics and campus life

Bus transportation will be provided from the Philadelphia 30th Street Station for students and families living in that area and surrounding counties at no cost.

Please print and return the completed registration form by mail or preferably fax the registration form to us at (717) 477-4016. Space is limited; the deadline for returned forms is October 26.

Forms received after that date are placed on the waiting list. No student will be permitted to attend without confirmation and the permission signature of a parent or guardian on the registration form. Each student is encouraged to fill out their own registration form.

***NOTE: A form returned by the deadline does not guarantee a space on the bus. Students who are able to ride the bus will be notified by a confirmation letter and /or phone call from a university representative.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Shawn Wiley, Assistant Dean of Admissions/Coordinator of Multicultural Recruitment at 1-800-822-8028.
