How to add or change a dining plan or add flex (points) online:

Would you like to add an initial dining plan, change an existing dining plan listed on your bill or add flex dollars (points)? You can make the change online before you pay your bill by following the steps noted below in the appropriate section.

Instructions to add an initial dining plan online

  1. Go to myShip and Login using your email address and password
  2. Go to Student 
  3. Choose Paying for College in the dropdown
  4. Click on View/Change Meal Plan 
  5. You should now be at the MyHousing page
  6. Click on Dining in the navigation page
  7. Locate the section for the semester you wish to select a meal plan. “Select A New Dining Plan” should be displayed in the drop-down box and then click “Continue”
  8. Click on the drop-down arrow under “Edit My Dining Plan” to select your dining plan
  9. Click “Submit My Dining Plan Selection”
  10. The dining plan you selected will display under the semester section of the page
     

Instructions to change a dining plan online:

  1. Go to myShip and Login using your email address and password
  2. Go to Student 
  3. Choose Paying for College in the dropdown
  4. Click on View/Change Meal Plan 
  5. You should now be at the MyHousing page
  6. Click on Dining in the navigation page
  7. Locate the section for the semester you wish to change, click on the drop-down arrow and select “Change Your Dining Plan” and then click “Continue”
  8.  Click on the drop-down arrow under “Edit My Dining Plan” to change your dining plan
  9.  Click “Submit My Dining Plan Selection”
  10.  The dining plan you selected will display under the semester section of the page

Instructions to add additional flex dollars (points) online:

  1. Go to myShip and Login using your email address and password
  2. Go to Student 
  3. Choose Paying for College in the dropdown
  4. Click on View/Change Meal Plan 
  5. You should now be at the MyHousing page
  6. Click on Dining in the navigation page
  7. On the left-hand side of the screen, click on “Dining” 
  8. Locate the section for the semester you wish to add flex, click on the drop-down arrow and select “Purchase Dining Points” and then click “Continue” 
  9. Click on the drop-down arrow beside “Number of Points to be Purchased” and select the amount of flex (points) that you wish to add (Flex may be added in increments of $25.) 
  10. Click on “Submit My Points Purchase” 
  11. A confirmation box will appear on the page

To pay for the additional flex, 

  1. Go to myShip and Login using your email address and password
  2.  Go to Student  
  3.  Choose Paying for College in the dropdown
  4.  Click on Account Information/Pay now and select the Term you want to view
  5. Click on Account Detail for Term  
  6. Click on Pay Now 
  7. You will be directed to Official Payments, our credit card and E-payment vendor to make your payment

Additional Information on Dining Plans

Flex (points) may be added online at any time throughout the semester; however, you must pay for the flex or have financial aid to cover the additional cost before the flex will be activated. Flex can be added in increments of $25.00.

Meal plans may be changed online through the Sunday before the start of the semester. Once the semester begins meal plan changes must be made through the Student Accounts Office. Increases to meal plans may be made at any time throughout the semester. Decreases in meal plans can only be made through the 2nd week of the semester.
