Chris Pruitt | Tuesday - April 21, 2020 | 9:30—10:30 a.m. Chris currently serves as President/CEO of East Penn Manufacturing Co. Inc., maker of Deka Batteries. East Penn Manufacturing is the largest privately held battery manufacturer in the world with over 10,000 employees. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors of East Penn Manufacturing Co., and the company’s Family Council and Foundation.
Shippensburg University’s Charles H. Diller Jr. Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation hosted a “ShipTank” competition for entrepreneurial-minded students.

Senator Casey tours with the SBDC
On July 26th, Senator Casey joined the Shippensburg University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) staff on a mid-morning walking tour of two of the center’s clients in Chambersburg and Carlisle, PA. Senator Casey visited the GearHouse Brewing Company in Chambersburg and the Falafel Shack in Carlisle.

The Grove College of Business is a member of the SAP America University Alliance Program (SAP UAP) and offers a set of courses that allows College of Business students to earn the SAP Recognition Award Certificate.
David Brantley, Alec Stimson and Patrick Luebben, all marketing majors at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, captured third place.
Stephen Washington, of Moon Township, was appointed to the Shippensburg University Council of Trustees by Governor Tom Wolf and approved by the Pennsylvania Senate. Washington will represent his peers as the student member of council.
Two Shippensburg University finance students are among the top 10 winners in a state-wide competition
Two senior finance students, Kyle Taylor and James Roop, have been selected as top ten winners of the state-wide Financial Plan Competition organized by CFA Society of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh. It is the competition for all finance majored students who are currently enrolled at a two or four year academic institutions in Pennsylvania. Each student is required to work with a faculty advisor to develop a financial plan. Kyle Taylor is ranked #5 and James Roop is ranked #6. The two students had been working under the advising and guidance of Dr. June Pham.
Amey Sgrignoli | Wednesday - April 17, 2019 | 9:00—10:00 a.m. Amey is the President/CEO of Belco Community Credit Union, Harrisburg.. She has been with the Belco since 2004. Amey has prior work experience in financial services and retail management.
Ian Cagle, Anthony Carlos, Nicholas Carroll, Jessica Lawrence, Jodie Meglio, Colleen Mooney, Justin Schneider and John Weakland have been awarded CMA Scholarships from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
