This is what the Honors Colloquium is doing about it!
This year the Honors Program Colloquium is developing a curriculum that focuses on enhancing Dominican students' English language and reading skills. The class will be collecting various school items through drives at local school districts along with learning activities made by the Colloquium students. The curriculum and supplies will be brought with the Honors students to the Dominican Republic when the class travels there in January 2010.
