Power, Agility, and Group Exercise (PAGE) Certificate

The Power, Agility, and Group Exercise (PAGE) Certificate program is primarily designed for current fitness professionals who are looking to strengthen their skillset, but current students who plan to pursue work in these areas after graduation can also benefit.

What Will I Learn?

The PAGE Certificate consists of three courses in exercise physiology, power and agility training, and group exercise instruction. From completing this coursework, you will gain knowledge and skill in creating fitness training programs for individuals and groups, correcting errors in technique, conducting cardiorespiratory and muscular fitness tests, and learning how to be a safe, effective, and motivating leader. Our courses are hands-on, so you will not just be in the classroom – you will learn by doing.

Completing the PAGE Certificate also helps prepare you for three different professional certifications:

  • American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) – Certified Group Exercise Instructor
  • USA Weightlifting (USAW) – Level 1 Certification
  • National Association of Speed and Explosion (NASE) – Level 1 Certification

What are the requirements for this degree?

Students interested in declaring the PAGE Certificate must meet the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate or Non-Matriculating Student
  • Overall GPA of 2.00 or higher

The certificate requires 10 credits across 3 courses, and you must earn a grade of C or higher in all courses to complete the certificate successfully.
