Awards and Scholarships

The Department of Global Languages & Cultures is committed to acknowledging and celebrating student achievement. Towards that end, we offer the following two awards annually: 

APSCUF College/Coach Student award

This $200 award is given to a student (two $100 awards may be instead given to two students) majoring or minoring in French, German or Spanish whose talents, academic accomplishments, and service merit recognition.  The most recent winners are:

• Tristan Ambrose – German
  GLC major/minor students may also be recommended for campus-wide awards such as The Dr. Robert Winter APSCUF-SU College of Arts and Sciences Student Award  ($500)

Pauline Klaus Award

This monetary award is given to a senior majoring in French or Spanish who excels in the study of the language. The most recent winners are:
