Doctoral Programs

Doctorate in Educational Leadership

Jointly offered with Millersville University, Shippensburg University's doctoral program in educational leadership leverages the expertise of faculty and resources of these two NCATE-accredited institutions to provide school administrators with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to develop and implement programs that support the Commonwealth's children in realizing their full academic potential.

Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision

Shippensburg University's Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision is designed to develop expertise in advanced practice and clinical supervision that builds upon a requisite 60-credit master's degree.

This part-time 60-credit program will primarily serve license-eligible and licensed professional counselors who aspire to advance their professional knowledge and standing across advanced practitioner, clinical supervisory, counselor educator, and leadership positions in Pennsylvania and beyond.

Doctorate of Business Administration

The John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University is proud to announce the approval of a new degree program, the Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA). This innovative doctoral program is the only AACSB-accredited DBA at a public university in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Classes are anticipated to begin in Fall 2019.
