Write the Ship

Write the Ship is a journal of academic writing sponsored by the English Department, dedicated to showcasing outstanding academic writing from students across the university. Each year we solicit for outstanding papers to be included.

The editors are eager to consider work from all colleges, every department, and any class, from both 100-level and upper-level courses: feature writing, research writing, reports, reviews, creative nonfiction, etc.

**Though the next issue of the journal will not come out until next spring, please consider sponsoring some of your students NOW!**

Professors:  Nominate your best students’ papers!

Students: Encourage your professors to nominate your papers!
