Step 2: Know your Gates   

The Teacher Education Program Gates and Status Level Matrix (say that 3 times fast), or simply The Matrix, will be used as a resource to help guide and track students through their Teacher Preparation Program (TPP) to ensure students stay on course to become certified educators.  This matrix is also aligned with the Pennsylvania Department of Education's policies.  

Please take time to familiarize yourself with the matrix.  It is important that you know what is needed now, and what will be needed to successfully complete your program.  If you are unclear, unsure, or downright lost when looking at this....talk to your Advisor.
