Important Notes for Filling out the Letter of Intent (LOI)
This form will be sent to the Office of the Chancellor (OOC) Program Review Committee by our Provost. When the form is complete, send it to the Provost’s Office. The Provost’s Office will review the proposal, discuss any recommendations, and approve the proposal before sending it forward.
DO NOT hit the submit button at the end of page one. Again, the Provost will review and approve the proposal, complete the process of filling out the Letter of Intent, and submit the LOI form. Other information (like “Provost Approval”) will be filled out before submission.
It is recommended that the LOI the UCC proposal be submitted around the same time. Ideally, the proposal will have met with approval from all university bodies by the time the OOC approves the LOI. The university-approved program proposal can then be submitted to the OOC.
The LOI must be approved by the OOC before the program proposal itself can be submitted to that office.
