I would like to welcome you to the United States of America, to Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and to Shippensburg University.  Congratulations on your acceptance.  I am so pleased that you will be joining the Ship community for what will be an exciting educational and cultural experience for you. Please know that the Global Education Center and its staff are interested in supporting you through your degree and time spent with us at SHIP!  Come into our office, located in Mowery Hall Rooms 246-251, if you have questions or concerns.

Shippensburg University welcomes the applications of students from other countries. Though modest in size, our international student population represents a wealth of cultural experience from many countries. The university realizes the level of commitment that one must make to leave their families, friends, and familiar culture to pursue academic goals in the United States. That is why the university is committed to having staff who develop programs that will support this tremendous effort.

The Global Education Center is located in Mowery Hall Rooms 246-251. We help international students regarding many aspects of their stay in Shippensburg. The staff can help with immigration, travel arrangements, living arrangements, health insurance, social security, emotional and cultural adjustment, etc. International students can also list the address of this office to receive mail and packages.
