Graduate and undergraduate students enrolled at Shippensburg University may reside on campus during the 16 week summer term. If you plan to live on campus, you will be charged according to the number of weeks in the summer term. If you are registered for a course that does not start and end on the standard 6-week term dates or if you wish to reside on campus in between terms, you may request special permission by emailing Jen Milburn at jsmilburn@ship.edu to reside in the residence hall for the duration of your course.
If you plan to live on campus, pre-register with the Housing Office and add the appropriate fees (below) to the amount due on your bill, make your payment online, and simply send an email to Student Accounts at studentaccts@ship.edu and tell us you included housing and meals with your payment. If you prefer to pay by mail, print your online bill, add the fees (below) to the amount due on your bill, and mail the bill with payment to the Student Accounts Office.
For Summer A, students will be housed in B Units when available at a cost of $160/week. Costs for other units vary according to the unit type. For Summer B, students will be housed in a traditional unit at a cost of $159/wk. Those who reside in housing will also be billed for a 19 Meal Plan at $120/wk. The 14 Meal Plan ($95/wk.) and the 10 Meal Plan ($81/wk.) are also available. If you wish to have either of those meal plans instead of the 19 Meal Plan, please contact the Student Accounts Office.
