Post-Degree Mathematics Pedagogy Certificate

The Graduate Pedagogy Certificate provides the most critical skills needed to help emergency certified and other teachers build their teaching skills for their mathematics classroom. With just-in-time information, teachers will be immersed in strategies for student-centered learning and the incorporation of manipulatives, technology, and active learning strategies that work to engage students.

What Will I Learn?

Weekly online class sessions give you the opportunity to learn within a supportive cohort of colleagues in similar positions, and work with course instructors to learn new approaches for maximizing student engagement and learning. This certificate can be completed in one calendar year while you work fulltime.
Upon completion of the program, teachers will have the skills necessary to effectively teach mathematics at the secondary level.

100% online

The Pedagogy Graduate Certificate requires completion of the following three graduate courses via distance education, in addition to a mathematics content online module using a resource such as ALEKS®.
