Shippensburg University offers a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an International Concentration.
Alumni of our program go on to have careers working in these areas and more:

- Public sector government relations

Those in the International Concentration will complete 24 credits in the international track. Core courses focus on world politics, American government, international relations, analysis, international law and organization, public affairs and research methods.
You will also take electives based on your interests and required courses in four applied competency areas:
- Oral Communication
- Written Communication
- Problem Solving
- Experiential Learning

Your classroom experience is complemented by internships, field trips, in-class simulations, nationally-known speakers and job shadowing.

Join the Political Science Club to connect and engage in the debate about politics and current events. Members of the club organize and participate in non-partisan political activities, take field trips to Washington, D.C., and become involved in fun events relating to the world of politics.
Ship also has an active chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society.
