New Faculty Exchanges
Tenure track faculty meet bi-weekly throughout the fall semester and monthly throughout the spring semester in training and information sessions titled: New Faculty Exchanges. These meetings are scheduled from 3:30-5:00 on Thursdays and are typically held in the CFEST/IDWS room in the Lehman Library. During the New Faculty Exchanges, the new faculty meet as a cohort with the new faculty mentor who monitors and supports new faculty throughout their first year. In addition, the new faculty mentor organizes information sessions to meet new faculty needs, including travel grant application processes, internal and external grant funding opportunities and procedures, academic advisement, curriculum design and distance education processes, and other SU shared governance practices.
