Robin Burtner, Interim Director
Robin has been with Shippensburg University since 2007 as the Director of the Shippensburg University Small Business Development Center (SBDC). She leads the planning, development, and implementation of programs supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs across Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, and York counties. In 2009, Robin assisted in the writing and development of the university’s Student Entrepreneurial Leadership Center, which later became the Diller Center. Starting in 2025, she serves in a dual leadership role, overseeing both the SBDC and the Charles H. Diller Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation. Robin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration. An advocate for experiential learning, Robin has developed multiple class projects and a small business internship initiative at Shippensburg University to foster real-world business insights and community engagement among students that results in societal impact.
