The award-winning John L. Grove College of Business maintains a reputation of providing quality education in their nationally-ranked Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The MBA Program is developed with the business professional in mind. We collaborate with corporate executives, who are members of the Grove College of Business Advisory Board and Discipline Advisory Councils, to provide desired skills and that prepare students to become forward-thinking business professionals and executives.
The 30-credit MBA degree program is AACSB-accredited and delivered in three convenient formats: part-time, full time and online. The requirements are the same in each of the formats. Our MBA program offers 6-credit concentrations that will give you the opportunity to specialize in a specific area that will help you gain knowledge and experience in the areas of:

Business Analytics Concentration
In this 36-credit option, students take the eight MBA core courses and then take the following four management information systems specific courses.

This concentration is delivered in hybrid format. It is not available online.

This fully online, 36-credit option provides students essential knowledge in the areas of:

Education is key for entering the accounting field and defining your career path. For long-term career planning, becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is ideal for you. For the fourth consecutive year, Shippensburg University’s John L. Grove College of Business is ranked in the top 40 nationally in the success rate of its graduates taking the certified public accountant exam.
Whether you are graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from Shippensburg University, with at least 24 credits of accounting coursework, you may be eligible to take the CPA exam. To obtain a CPA license, an additional 30 credits are required beyond the BSBA degree requirements. The 30 credit MBA program is an ideal fit to your accounting undergraduate degree to complete the 150 credits requirements allowing you to sit for the CPA certification exam.
