Alex Boeckel

The Investment Management Program has been instrumental in developing my skills in managing real money portfolios. This experience has allowed me to cultivate a keen sense of responsibility and has also provided me with the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for finding truth in an adaptive industry.
I'm a college student passionate about finance and diplomacy. I am looking forward to extensive international travel, and I am confident that those experiences will significantly shape and inform my future professional endeavors.
Throughout my four years at college, I have actively participated in various extracurricular activities, including Alpha Kappa Psi, the Investment Club, the Student Government Association, the Chess Club, and the History Club.

Eric Bohenek

Hello, my name is Eric Bohenek and I am a Senior Finance major here at Shippensburg University. Apart from the IMP program, I am also a 4-year member of the university's baseball team as well as a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). I have also gained hands on experience through and internship with Integrated Pension Services. Upon graduation, although undecided currently, I will look either obtain a masters degree, or begin my long journey in the Financial industry.

Hello, my name is Mason Holtry, and I am a Senior Finance and Supply Chain Management major. During my time at Shippensburg University, I have served as President of Investment Club, a member of Alpha Kappa Psi and now a member of IMP. I am currently working at Volvo Construction as an Inside Sales and Order Management Intern. After I graduate in the Fall, I plan to pursue an opportunity where I can put both my knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain together.

Christopher Jones

Hello, my name is Christopher Jones, and I am a Senior Finance Major at Shippensburg University. While at Shippensburg, I have been involved in the Ultimate Frisbee club serving as a captain and as the club treasurer and now the Investment Management Program. I have also worked as an intern at CKA SAVE Project, Inc. as the fundraising chair and accounting personnel. After I graduate, I plan to pursue a career in finance and become a valuable member of the finance community.

Brock Piper

Brock Piper

Hello, I'm Brock Piper, a senior Finance major at Shippensburg University. Outside of academics, I compete for the University's Baseball Team as a third basemen and pitcher. I was invited to the IMP program and was ecstatic about the opportunity to acquire further knowledge about financial markets and work with a team of highly skilled peers. Also, while spending a semester as a Real Estate Assistant and gaining knowledge regarding both residential and commercial properties and the behind-the-scenes work that must be taken into consideration when creating deals that will be profitable investments. This is my first semester with the class, and I look forward to improving my skills and knowledge for the future.

Jeremiah Quigley

My name is Jeremiah Quigley, and I am currently a Senior Finance major at Shippensburg University. Thus far, my participation in the Investment Management Program has provided insight, practicality, and a strategical approach in actively managing the Wisman Fund. Involvement within the program establishes disciplined investor rationale, in consideration of continuous following of recent market news and trends in attempt to create leverage within the Wisman Fund. As of the summer of 2023, I have interned within the Financial Consulting Industry at Polaris Advisors, located in Central Pennsylvania; and as far as this upcoming summer of 2024, I have accepted a position with Thrivent Financial, the only Not-for-Profit organization within the Fortune 500, as a Financial Field Services Intern. To the extent of my personal life, I proudly serve in the PA Air National Guard as an Aircraft Electrician, and can be found spending most of my time enjoying physical leisure. Following graduation, I highly anticipate commissioning in the PA Air National Guard, and as well imposing a lasting impact within the Financial Services Industry.

Stephanie Runyon

Hello! My name is Stephanie Runyon, and I am a Senior majoring in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. During my time at Shippensburg, I have served the university as a Student Ambassador, Resident Assistant, and Desk Assistant. Additionally, I am a member of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Accounting Club. Outside of class, I have gained valuable experience as a Price Analyst for Volvo Construction Equipment and as a volunteer for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). As I approach graduation, I plan to further my education at Shippensburg University for a Master’s in Business Administration.

Alex Sprague

My name is Alex Sprague, and I am a junior finance and accounting major. So far, the Investment Management Program has taught me a great deal about various investment approaches, research, and analysis.
Outside of the IMP, I am involved with student ambassadors and disciple makers of Christian fellowship. This summer, I look forward to gaining more practical experience while interning at Eurofins. In the future, I will pursue a degree as a Financial Analyst or Accountant.

Joshua Summers

My name is Joshua Summers and I'm a senior Finance major at Shippensburg University. My experience thus far in IMP has been nothing short of special. The class, as demanding as it is, has had nothing but a positive impact on my personal growth within the field of finance. It has pushed me beyond the comfort zone of traditional theory in the classroom. Rather, the opportunity of managing a real-dollar portfolio, through application, has ingrained within me a deeper understanding than any other class has in my college experience. Prior to beginning undergrad, I proudly served in the active-duty United States Marine Corps for four years as a Radio Operator. During the 2023 fall semester, I humbly became a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. After graduation, I plan on pursing a position with a federal agency.

My name is Cody Willoughby, and I am a senior finance major with a concentration in personal financial planning. At Shippensburg University, I am also involved with the Men's Soccer Team, the Wood Honor's College, and the Investment Club. After graduation in May 2024, I plan on obtaining my master's degree in finance. Hello, my name is Ethan Wolfe, and I am a senior Finance and Supply Chain Management dual major graduating December 2024. In addition to being a member of the Investment Management Program, I am an executive board officer of the Investment Club, and am a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional fraternity here at SU. Further, I have worked with Volvo Construction Equipment as an intern since January 2023. Following my graduation in December, I plan to start my career in the field of supply chain management or finance.
