The conference Center at Shippensburg University has 13 meeting spaces that accommodate groups ranging in size from 6 to 100 people. On campus catering provides fresh, delicious, and creative food and beverage options for every meeting. The Conference Center is located at 500 Newberg Road, Shippensburg, PA. Conveniently located adjacent to the Courtyard by Marriot, we are easy to get to and a central location for all meeting attendees. We are right off I-81 with easy access to the Turnpike as well. The Conference Center is an easy one-stop-shop for all your meeting needs.
The Space
The Conference Center is a two story, accessible building with six meetings spaces on the 1st floor and seven meeting spaces on the 2nd floor.
Technology
Audio/Visual
Each meeting room is equipped with an 85 in. displace screen, plug and play connections for various devices, and web cameras with microphones for virtual meetings. This AV is intuitive to use, clear visuals, great sound, and engaging for your attendees. More specific details about AV can be provided based on spaces being used. Sound reinforcement is also available for larger groups.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available through out the building. Connection credentials will be provided to attendees and planners at the start of each meeting. Credentials change weekly for security purposes.
Catering and Lodging
Catering
Campus Dining Services provides wonderful catering options for the Conference Center. Seasonal menus keep offerings fresh and fun. Catering menus can be found online here. All orders must be for 12 people or more or come to the sum of $100 or more. Catering can be ordered online and paid via credit card, or through the Conference Services office and added to your final invoice.
Lodging
The Courtyard by Marriot Shippensburg is adjacent to the Conference Center and provides outstanding accommodation for meeting guests.
