Memorial Auditorium

Memorial Auditorium is the Shippensburg University on-campus theatre, providing a performing space to students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Some annual events include the following:

• Miss Black and Gold Scholarship Pageant, presented by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
• Homecoming Lip Sync
• Homecoming Step Show, presented by the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs
• Rocky Horror Picture Show, presented by Act V Theatre Company
• In-Motion Dance Troupe Showcase
• Vagina Monologues, presented by Women's Center
• Black Experience Tribute Show, presented by the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs
• B.R.O.T.H.E.R.S Campus Invasion
• Athletes Got Talent, presented by the Athletic Department
• Greek Week Lip Sync Competition, presented by the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life
• Act V Theatre Company's Spring Musical

Bi-yearly, Memorial Auditorium welcomes the Music and Theatre Arts Department to share the stage for the Theatre Practicum Play.

The Auditorium has seating capacity for 650 guests with 8 of those seats available for accessible seating.

Hours of Operations

• Sunday - Thursday:       8:30 AM - 11:30 PM
• Friday and Saturday      8:30 AM - 12:00 AM

Reservations & Scheduling

To reserve space within Memorial Auditorium, please visit events.ship.edu and log into your account. Click on 'Request Event'. When reserving Memorial Auditorium, please select all spaces needed for the events.
