Commuter Lounge

The lounge in CUB 209 is a great place to hang out when you have down time on campus. There is a kitchenette to store and make food, comfortable furniture, tables, computers, and more. The lounge is available during the CUB’s normal hours for all commuter, non-traditional, and graduate students to:

• Recharge
• Eat
• Study
• Use a computer
• Print out assignments
• Play board games
• Meet other commuter students

When using the lounge, we ask that you please take care of the space and share it well with other students by:

• Leaving the lounge as you found it
• Cleaning up any messes
• Washing your dishes
• Throwing out your old food from the fridge
• Keeping the doors shut and not giving out the code publicly
• Maintaining a considerate volume
• Treating the lounge resources with care
• Respecting others’ space and belongings

Please note that you are responsible for your belongings, and we are not liable for any lost items.

If you need the passcode, there is a QR code outside of the lounge you can scan for a quick form that will grant you access to the code. You can also email commute@ship.edu to get the code and to notify someone of any lounge needs such as printer paper, dish soap, etc.
